MAIN MENU COMMANDS

New

Creates a new Web Menu Builder project.

The new project consists of ROOT container only and all properties are set to the default style.

Open

Opens an existing Web Menu Builder project.

The project files are found under the .wmb extension.

Save

Saves the current project into an .wmb file.

Save As

Saves the current project with a different filename.

Exit

Closes the Web Menu Builder application.

Copy Item Style

Stores the style of the selected element so that it can be used to "paint" similar elements.

Paste Item Style

"Paints" the selected element with the style stored by the Copy Item Style feature.

This operation does not change the contents of the selected element. It changes only its Style properties.

Copy Item

Copies the selected item to the Clipboard.

If the selected element has any children (i.e. elements linked to it) the copy WILL NOT apply to them too. This means that the clipboard WILL NOT contain both the element and its child elements too.

Paste Item

Inserts the content of the Clipboard into the menu structure.

When pasting the clipboard element, a new element will REPLACE selected element in the menu structure.

Add

Adds a new item or container in the menu structure.

If the selected element is an item, the new container is placed below it as a child.

If the selected element is a container, the new item is placed below it at the end.

Remove

Deletes the selected item or container from the menu structure.

If the selected item or container has any child elements, the child elements are deleted as well.

Preview

Displays the menu design on a sample web page.

This is a fast way to view the changes made during the menu's design phase. It is a WYSIWYG window that will help you experiment with your menu properties, observe its behavior and implement its design exactly the way you like.

Generate

Generates compiled JavaScript files and the HTML output file that implements your menu.

Options

Opens the Project Options dialog where you can set parameters that affect your entire project.

Online Help

Displays the contents of the online help. It also supports keyword search.

About

Displays the About box of Web Menu Builder.
